This position is responsible for editing, proofreading and writing copy for a wide variety of marketing materials and mediums, including sales/promotional collateral, RFP responses and pitch decks, press releases, creative assets (web/digital, social, email, print, etc) and other duties as assigned. The Senior Copywriter will be responsible for crafting copy that is consistent with brand standards for OVG360, reviewing the accuracy of all messaging produced for client and internal corporate initiatives. This position supports overarching storytelling, checks grammar, spelling and punctuation and works with reference materials supplied by the marketing communications team, in addition to the business development, sales and creative services teams to ensure copy is executed and delivered error-free and on time. This position focuses on quality control across increasingly complex assignments and must have the ability to form dynamic working partnerships across several departments on the team.
This role will pay a salary of $100,000 to $120,000.

The role of the housekeeping supervisor is to follow the department guidelines as set by the Housekeeping Manager to ensure a high level of cleanliness and client satisfaction at the venue. Job duties include providing cleaning services to our administrative offices, lobbies, ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibit hall floors, windows, escalators, and restrooms. The housekeeping department is responsible for maintaining an overall cleanliness of the building as well as coverage for high traffic areas during events. The supervisor leads the housekeeping crew. Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to work nights and weekends.
This role will pay a salary of $17 to $18.50.

The Concession Food Runner is responsible for delivering beer kegs, liquor, wine and soda supplies to
the appropriate concession stands or bars with attention to accuracy and organization. The Bar Runner
will troubleshoot problems with soda and beer dispensing equipment and inform management if additional
maintenance is required. The Bar/ Concession Runner will assist with general distribution duties in
addition to their specific responsibilities.
The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per

Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the venue dining areas catering functions. The Food and Beverage Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment. The Food and Beverage Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

A Guest Service Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who will act as primary provider of direct service to guests as they are entertained at the Iowa Events Center. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for our guests and ensuring all service needs are met. Guest Service Attendants will work in positions as needed including; usher, ticket taker, suite staff and door guards.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $11.00.

The Barista that we are hiring for will be working in the Tech Center on campus. This location is seperate from the main kitchen and other coffee stand. The person hired for this position will need to be strong at working independently. This person will be solely in charge of stocking and serving customers on thier own. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. We are hiring for the fall quarter that will begin September 25th and training will begin the week of September 18th. There is also opportunity to work overtime by working on campus catering or bartending. Coffee stand is open Monday - Thursday 7am - 2pm and Friday 7am - 12pm
