This position shall assist guests in purchasing/redeeming tickets to events at the UPMC Events Center.
Guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment.
This position shall perform a multitude of physical tasks to maintain, changeover and clean the facility. The work requires the ability to lift 50lbs. under a varied work schedule. The position reports to the Operations Manager
Operations Crew Members will report to the Operations Manager. This position will work alongside the operations team to participate in conversions, event set ups, event break downs, etc.

The bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. Operations Staff will perform a multitude of tasks to setup, run, and breakdown of all needed seating, table, staging, equipment for events hosted at Xtream Arena & GreenState Family Fieldhouse.
Housekeeping are responsible for the continuous cleaning of the facility, as well as keeping the environment safe and hazard free for entertainers, guests, patrons, and staff. They are responsible for ensuring the venue is ready to go for all events and presentable at all times. They must communicate in a friendly, respectful and understanding manner with both colleagues and guests alike. They must politely give consistent, timely and accurate information and find answers when unsure. Must be a team player, cooperate with employees within the department as well as other departments.
The Event Staff is the primary contact with the guests at the facility. Required to have knowledge of the building and its services also to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons.
AV Staff members set up and operate the video, audio, and lighting equipment used to enhance live events. This is an on call as needed position.
This is a part time temporary (6 mo) internship that will pay $16 phr and is not eligible for benefits, company does not have the ability to cover travel to/ relocation to/housing expenses in location for the term of their internship
- Internships are expected to have a six-month commitment. This allows the student to experience a venue atmosphere through two seasons of the annual life cycle.
- Internships are considered part time with a varied weekly schedule requiring an estimated 4-24 hours per week depending on events.
- Learning agenda will include all aspects of event management including advance, guest services, production, facilities, security, parking, and box office.
- Phases of internship are evaluated as follows: Orientation & training à Observation, learning, and practice à Implementation of skills and tasks à Development and improvement à Review, feedback, and assessment.

This is a part-time position in the Box Office. Hours are dependent on the events schedule and are primarily available during evenings and weekends. Job responsibilities include information distribution, computerized ticket sales, answering the phone and the balancing of all monies received from ticket sales at the end of each shift.

Under direct supervision from Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor, On Call Operations Workers perform event set-up and tear down, custodial, housekeeping and light maintenance tasks as assigned. In the absence of the Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor, On Call Operations Workers may receive instruction from the Operations Leads, Event Manager or Manager on Duty.

The Dishwasher/Utility Worker serves a variety of essential back of the house and front of house Food & Beverage roles which include working as a dishwasher, food runner, deep cleaning the kitchen and all equipment along with other miscellaneous duties. Dishwasher/Utility Workers are required to maintain a safe sanitary work environment. Dishwasher/Utility Workers are also required to gain an extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment including but not limited to steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, and dish washing equipment.

Our in-house culinary team is seeking additional Banquet Servers for a variety of events. Event types include but are not limited to meetings, weddings, concessions, ticketed shows and concerts. Banquet servers will be responsible for providing superior customer service to all guests, fulfilling event needs as promised as well as adapting to individual guest requests.

To perform the kitchen’s daily activities in accordance with policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability and a positive, productive and compliant work environment. Responsible for kitchen duties as assigned by Chef and supervisors. Assist in the preparation of all food.

The Vice President of Operations and Brand Strategy (VPOBS) will be responsible for achieving Brulee Catering’s growth objectives in the Off Premise Catering and Managed Services segment by taking a leadership role in identifying, qualifying, pursuing and, ultimately, business opportunities in the Philadelphia Region as well as select opportunities in the Northeast Corridor and across the OVG portfolio of accounts. The VPOBS will become fully versed in the local Philadelphia marketplace, develop a complete and thorough understanding of all competitors and potential competitors in the market, identify Brulee Catering’s strengths and weakness in the market and work with Brulee’s Senior Leadership team and Corporate Food & Beverage leadership to address or enhance same. The VPOBS leader is an orchestrator who builds a vision, a plan, and a team to set our clients up for success with venue growth and, therefore, OVG growth. This individual is responsible for overall management, promotion, and operation of their own assigned Food & Beverage venue, including Catering/Concessions/Premium Services, Culinary Initiatives, Sales and Marketing, Finance, and related operations.
The Vice President of Operations & Brand Strategy will be a member of Brulee Catering’s Senior Leadership Team, while officing out of Brulee Commissary in Philadelphia and will work closely with Brulee’s venue clients and business partners to develop remarkable relationships, all as well as with all organizations and decision makers who can assist in identifying opportunities that will allow Brulee Catering to achieve our Growth targets.
The ideal Candidate will work in tandem with the Senior Leadership Team to develop a strategic vision for Brûlée Catering’s growth and to implement a operational & sales culture that ensures that everyone is a “salesperson” and how the delivery of exceptional catering experiences can translate into a new business opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring sales and relationships across the Brûlée portfolio of accounts, supporting the sales efforts of the catering sales team, managing, client relationships, and working together with Marketing & Creative Department to ensure Brûlée Catering is properly positioned in all forms of media while maintaining a select book of high-profile business. Our ideal candidate is a skilled multi -tasker who can balance the Business Development responsibilities with client communications, relationship building and networking.

The Operation staff will assist in coordination and execution of event setup activities and operations for the facility and provides responsible staff assistance to the Director of Event Operations and Operations Manager.
