The Operations Team Member is responsible to help with the setup/clean up of events as well as maintenance and up-keep of the venue. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, this position prepares the arena for events, including arranging chairs and tables and preparing ice and other athletic floors, and monitors and troubleshoots during the event to respond to malfunctions and other needs.    This position is based at our Ralston Arena. The Server / Suite Attendant is an individual with execellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and also food preparation skills.  You will be responsible to set up your suite and take care of your clients food and beverage needs for the event. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for effective preventative and planned maintenance of site assets as well as troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and carpentry for Spectra at our venue.   This position is required to work event preparation, event presentations, move-ins, and move-outs. Depending on event schedules, hours of work may be long and varied. Maintain appearance of facility including snow and ice removal, mowing and trimming, weeding and spraying, painting, and cleaning.

Conversion Crew Members will perform a multitude of tasks to setup, run, and breakdown of all needed seating, table, staging, equipment for events hosted at the Alerus Center.

Parking Supervisor will assist the Parking Manager in daily operations of all Iowa Events Center parking locations. Position is responsible for various administrative duties and ensuring staff has appropriate knowledge and tools for customer service focus and efficient operations.

The part time Electrician performs Journeyman electrician level and leadwork duties, under general direction, in the technical operation, maintenance and repair of electrical generating equipment, fire and smoke detection system, HVAC, building automation systems, and auxiliary systems throughout the Iowa Events Center.  Responsible for performing skilled tasks in accordance with the standard practices of the electrical trade.  Accountable to the full time Electrician and/or Asst Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer.
