The Painter is responsible for all of the painting needs of the Convention Center which results in maintaining a ‘like-new’ appearance of the facility. The Painter works with the Chief Engineer to develop the schedule of repair work and periodic refreshing to achieve this. Though classified as the facility Painter,
the position assists in a variety of disciplines as needed.
The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
The Premium Service Attendant assists in providing guests with a pleasant service experience. The attendant is primarily responsible for setting up serviced rooms are properly set with appropriate food, beverage, and equipment prior to guest arrival, ensuring additional service requests are provided in a timely/professional manner, and restoring the serviced rooms to their original condition prior to setup. The employee must demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work in an ever-changing/fast-paced environments efficiently, and ability to meet hospitality standards for premium services. The attendant must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
Under general supervision of the Manager of Grounds, Sports Turf Supervisor, the Grounds Crew will assist in the overall field maintenance including all playing surfaces, and stadium grounds. This is part time, year-round position.

Under the general supervision of the AV & Broadcast Manager the Event Presentation Staff will be responsible for working multiple positions within the control room during SDSU Football games, and other special events at Snapdragon Stadium. The position will be part-time, hourly and personnel should be available to work: days and nights, including weekends and holidays.

The Changeover Crew staff member is an on call, per event employee who will work in the areas of room sets and arena conversions at the Ted Constant Convocation Center.

The Catering Manager provides support and assistance with Catering activities as well providing assistance to the concession managers in the profitable management of concessions operations, as needed. The Catering Manager will independently initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion and transfer. The Catering Manager will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant and cooperative work environment.
The Catering Manager will provide oversight and resolution responsibility for employee performance issues. The Catering Manager must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event. A critical function of the Catering Manager will be to actively mentor, train and help employees and volunteers meet company quality standards. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which to evenings and weekends. Overview:
Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Event Operations Supervisor, the Event Operations Staff will execute the set-up and tear down of events, assist with inventory and provide general maintenance, as necessary. The position will be part-time, hourly and should be available to work days and nights, including weekends and holidays.
Opening September 2022, Snapdragon Stadium is a 35,000-seat multipurpose venue that will serve as the home for San Diego State University football, San Diego Wave (NWSL soccer), MLR rugby, major concerts and festivals, professional sports, motorsports, NCAA and world championships, international soccer, high school sports, entertainment events and private special events.
