The Conference Sales Manager is responsible for booking corporate, private and internal Robert Morris University events through an aggressive marketing and sales program. The Conference Sales Manager will work on conference and meeting space booking opportunities, work with clients on rates and contract terms and convey this information to all departments. The candidate will be able to execute all aspects of the sale process, promote to potential clients, establish working relationships, initiate sales calls, and ensure booking information is maintained and up to date.
he Box Office Manager directs and oversees all aspects of the daily operation of the box office, providing unsurpassed customer and guest service. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ticketing, staff management and customer service.
Operations Crew Members will report to the Operations Manager. This position will work alongside the operations team to participate in conversions, event set ups, event break downs, etc.

Security Officers are responsible for security during events and on a continuous operating basis. Security officers are required to provide a safe and secure environment for all JCC employees, guests, performers, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Officers are also responsible for assisting in the deployment and activation of the JCC Emergency Response Plan and JCC Evacuation Plan. Assistance with investigations as needed is also required. Excellent customer service towards internal and external clients is mandatory. This is a part-time, event-based, union and hourly position.
The Cook is responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of all food items for banquets and concessions while maintaining the highest standards to produce an appealing and appetizing product. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen, and storage areas while minimizing waste, maximizing cost/production ratio and following HACCAP guidelines.
The Operations Supervisor directly supervises and assists in setting up and teardown of events at the Jackson Convention Complex as specified by event setup plans. This position is responsible for preparing the facility for all events.

The Executive Chef is responsible for a top notch food & beverage operation as well as menu design and meal preparation of the facility including: fine dining, private catering & events, concerts and concessions food experience. Additionally, work with the Director of Food & Beverage to execute purchasing, receiving and producing. This position will oversee the stewarding department, and maintain all culinary equipment including china, glass and smallware. This role reports top the Director of Food and Beverage.
The Event Staff is the primary contact with the guests at the facility. Required to have knowledge of the building and its services also to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the building patrons.
The Event Manager provides professional client services support in the planning, organization, and management of events at the Jackson Convention Complex. The Event Manager also monitors the logistics of events, and all event coordination tasks after events are booked through the conclusion of the event.
Dishwasher washes and sanitizes all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment and small wares. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
