Moody Center is offering a paid internship for the Spring Semester. We are looking for students who want professional level experience and have the initiative, skills and drive to excel. This program will give college students an opportunity to work alongside professionals in the live entertainment, sports, and venue management industry.
This internship will provide experience with sustainability initiatives, planning and reporting, as well as general venue operations. Interns will gain working knowledge and experience working with a portfolio of projects to support Oak View Group’s Sustainability Program including projects to address energy, water conservation, waste management, air quality, green mobility, and environmental stewardship.
Internship details:
- Pay: $13.00 / hour
- Not to exceed 20 hours per week

To oversee the direction of the kitchen’s daily activities in accordance with OVG policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability and a positive, productive and compliant work environment. Responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with the overall kitchen operations, including food and labor cost controls. The Executive Sous Chef of Spanish Cuisine is responsible for the effective management and operation of the public food culinary team including event planning support, scheduling, food preparation and production, food cost control, compliance with food safety and sanitation policies, cleaning, kitchen safety, employee training and supervision, and any other tasks assigned by the GM or Executive Chef.
The Executive Sous Chef of Spanish Cuisine will provide oversight and resolution responsibility for employee performance issues. The Executive Sous Chef of Spanish Cuisine must provide a high level of event oversight, culinary proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event. A critical function of the Executive Sous Chef of Spanish Cuisine will be to actively mentor, train and help employees meet company quality standards, and to promote a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The Executive Sous Chef of Spanish Cuisine must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which to evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills and self-direction required.
This role will pay a salary of $70,000 to $80,000.

Moody Center is offering a paid internship program for the Srping Semester. We are looking for individuals who want professional level experience and have the initiative, skills and drive to excel. This internship will provide experience with Digital Marketing. Interns will gain working knowledge of Digital Marketing in an arena setting. The Digital Marketing Intern will support the Moody Center digital footprint inclusive of social media, website, app, digital assets, email and social media calendar.

This internship will provide experience with Moody Center’s Branding Department. Interns will gain working knowledge of the entertainment industry, artist relations, public engagement activations, back of house engagement activations, show day social media content and creation, as well as event planning experience.

We are currently hiring an Account Manager, Premium Service, which is a shared services role between the New York Islanders and UBS Arena. The ideal candidate must be an experienced sales and service professional who leads by example, possesses the ability to establish solid business relationships, maintains a professional attitude and maximizes opportunities to increase revenue potential, drive attendance and retention. The position is to be a key contributor to the Premium Service Team
This role will pay a salary of $60,000 to $70,000.

Under general supervision, the Back of House Supervisor supports the Catering Department and is responsible for all back of house (BOH) areas including cleaning, organization and set-up before, during and after events. This position is responsible for reviewing Banquet Event Orders pulling and staging all equipment based on these documents prior to event set-up; and ensure the catering / banquet equipment is maintained, stored and inventoried. Oversee the cleaning & sanitation of the back of house areas and dock. Assist in waste management, recycling, composting and other areas of Catering as directed. Support and provide task direction to BOH employees as directed. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event driven schedule including nights and weekends per business need
This role will pay an hourly wage of $19.00.

The Assistant Premium Seating & Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for working with the Premium Seating & Group Sales Manager at Central Bank Center in executing premium seating, group sales, and servicing efforts on behalf of the complex. The basic functions of this position include sales and the facilitation of premium seating and group sales programs while maintaining high levels of customer service.
This role will pay a salary of $21 to $24.

The Building Maintenance Engineer reports directly to the Director of Operations. The Building Maintenance Engineer will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work to maintain all physical aspects of the facility while maintaining OSHA compliance and working cooperatively with other departments to assure facility readiness and smooth operation of events.
This role will pay a salary of $26 to $30.

The Food Truck Cook is responsible for preparing menu items utilizing mobile cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Portion control, food waste and sanitation are additional areas that the Cook must be aware of while operating on the food truck and satellite kitchen.
This role will pay a salary of $18 to $20.

As a Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for executing event day marketing plans, including operating marketing tables, providing high quality customer service for our VIP experiences, execution of grassroots promotions and social media content creation. While coordinating marketing plans you will be expected to design, print, and hang flyers around the venue, talk to patrons about upcoming events, provide quality customer service to our Peake Experience clients, assist with back of house experience set up, and assist marketing initiatives as needed.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Information Technology (IT) Intern to join our team. The IT Intern will support our in-house IT department in a variety of areas, including new hire technology setup and onboarding, digital signage support, O365 administration, daily cybersecurity review, and hardware and software support. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist with the implementation of new technologies, and provide training and support to team members.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $18 to $20.00.
The Internship role is for approximately 5-6 months for about 20-25 hours/week.

The Food & Beverage Manager must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment. This role will pay a salary of $50,000 to $52,000.

The Event and Marketing Manager is responsible for booking, planning, coordination, and facilitating the logistics of events throughout the Heart of Oklahoma Expo. They will act as a liason for the building with all parties involved in the events.
This role will pay a salary of $50,000 to $60,000.

We are looking for an experienced AV Technician to assist with the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repairs of critical building equipment and infrastructure systems. This person should have a background in live broadcast or event audio and video presentation systems, including signal path distribution and routing, equipment set up, and regular maintenance procedures. You will be working on a broad range of events from NHL games and major concert tours to corporate events, specialty activations, and press conferences.
This position will report to the Sr. Manager of AV Technology, Digital Displays, & Arena Content and will work closely with the NY Islanders Event Presentation team as well as the UBS Arena Operations team.
This role will pay a salary of $60,000 to $70,000.
