OVG Hospitality, a division of the Oak View Group, is a full-service venue management and event programming company that operates and books arenas, theaters, convention centers, and amphitheaters throughout the U.S. OVG has an excellent and immediate opening for a Banquet Server for the State Fair Park and Event Center. This is a Gratuity share position.
Managed by OVG, the State Fair Park and Event Center purpose is to create, plan and execute outstanding event experiences. To achieve this, our employees must provide the highest levels of guest service by demonstrating our principles of being professional, resourceful, accommodating and precise, while always being safe. To be successful in this role, candidates must be friendly and honest, build strong relationships, continually strive to provide a seamless experience, and be flexible to our guests needs by providing quality services and products through detailed and accurate communication. Team members of the State Fair Park and Event Center must share in our values of being adaptable to event needs, being aware of guest requirements, showing strong character, and being team centric.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $16 to $17.50.

OVG Hospitality, the exclusive caterer at State Fair Park and the Yakima Valley SunDome is currently seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to join our expanding culinary, special events and catering services team. We are outfitted with unique, versatile, and functional indoors and outdoors dining areas and venues as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen and host some of the most high-profile events the Valley.
Oak View Group is a sports and entertainment company engaged in a wide variety of activities, including arena development, facility management, arena and stadium alliance, sponsorships and partnerships, security services, publications, conferences, and consulting. The company, privately held, is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with offices throughout the world.
The Banquet Captain is responsible for planning and supervising banquet events for our operation; including overseeing setup and breakdown of dining and bar service areas, interacting with clients and hosts, training, assigning, and monitoring service and support staff to ensure guest satisfaction and service standards are met or exceeded at every event.
The Banquet Captain must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment.
The Banquet Captain must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business needs.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $20 to $22.00 (participation in house gratuity pool)

We are outfitted with unique, versatile, and functional indoors and outdoors dining areas and venues as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen and host some of the most high-profile events in the Valley.
The Sous Chef will actively supervise, direct, train and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards. The Sous Chef will actively work with the General Manager/Executive Chef to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.
This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and strong management and independent decision-making skills are required.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $22.00 to $25.00.
