We are outfitted with unique, versatile, and functional indoors and outdoors dining areas and venues as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen and host some of the most high-profile events the Valley.    Oak View Group is a sports and entertainment company engaged in a wide variety of activities, including arena development, facility management, arena and stadium alliance, sponsorships and partnerships, security services, publications, conferences, and consulting. The company, privately held, is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with offices throughout the world.   The Banquet Captain is responsible for planning and supervising banquet events for our operation; including overseeing setup and breakdown of dining and bar service areas, interacting with clients and hosts, training, assigning, and monitoring service and support staff to ensure guest satisfaction and service standards are met or exceeded at every event. We are outfitted with unique, versatile, and functional indoors and outdoors dining areas and venues as well as a state-of-the-art kitchen and host some of the most high-profile events in the Valley.    The Sous Chef will actively supervise, direct, train and mentor employees in meeting company quality standards. The Sous Chef will actively work with the General Manager/Executive Chef to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant, and cooperative work environment.   This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends.  Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and strong management and independent decision-making skills are required.     This role will pay an hourly wage of $22.00 to $25.00.   For PT roles: Benefits: Eligible to accrue sick leave; 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
