The Virginia State University Multi-Purpose Center Parking Staff provides excellent customer service to the arena guests and are often the first person our shows and premium guests connect with upon arrival.  The ideal candidate will be able to communicate clearly and professionally with peers and guests and have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.   This role will pay an hourly wage of $12 to $15.00.    For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

The Marketing and Sales Internship at VSU Multi-Purpose Center is designed to give the student a complete working understanding of marketing and sales in the arena management and event management fields. The intern will learn to coordinate, implement, and work on projects that will encompass plans for the event season at VSU Multi-Purpose Center. They will showcase their talents to design and develop new concepts for the arena.  They will also assist the marketing team with completing tasks necessary for the overall campaign for the upcoming event season with heavy focus on creative, social media and grassroots. The intern will also be required to identify a semester project that is to be completed by the end of the semester.   This role will pay an hourly wage of $12 to $15.00.    For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

The Changeover Crew staff member is an on call, per event employee who will work in the areas of room sets and arena conversions at the VSU Multi-Purpose Center.

Undersupervision of Box Office Manager, assist in the operation of the box office, implementing and following procedures, overseeing the box office while Manager is away, and scheduling and training personnel for Spectra at the VSU Multi-Purpose Center.

Undersupervision of Box Office Manager and Box Office Supervisor, responsible for ticketsales and customerservice for all ticketed events at the VSU Multi-Purpose Center.
