The Vice President of Building Operations reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the oversight of the UBS Arena’s physical plant operation, repairs and maintenance, technology, and site operations. Included in this responsibility is the leadership, budgeting, staffing, and technical direction of each department. The Vice President develops and maintains all day-to-day processes related to building functions and operations to support the overall operation of the arena and surrounding campus. A UBS Arena Parking Operations Supervisor will be responsible for event day supervision and management of part of our parking & transportation operations on event days. This individual will observe, report, and carry out event day procedures set forth by the Parking & Transportation Manager. The supervisor will be asked to complete event checklists, complete event reports, and ensure efficient operation. A person who can provide valuable information and feedback regarding our parking and transportation operations to better assist the Manager & Director with the implementation of procedures would be valuable. The Director of Engineering and Maintenance reports directly to the VP of Building Operations and is responsible for the Physical Plant including the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and building automation systems at UBS Arena. Included in this responsibility is leadership, budgeting, staffing, and training of the UBS Arena repairs and maintenance staff. We are looking for an experienced AV Technician to assist with the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repairs of critical building equipment and infrastructure systems.  This person should have a background in live broadcast or event audio and video presentation systems, including signal path distribution and routing, equipment set up, and regular maintenance procedures.  You will be working on a broad range of events from NHL games and major concert tours to corporate events, specialty activations, and press conferences.    This position will report to the Sr. Manager of AV Technology, Digital Displays, & Arena Content and will work closely with the NY Islanders Event Presentation team as well as the UBS Arena Operations team.     This role will pay a salary of $60,000 to $70,000.   For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays). *Experience in arena, stadium, or large venue AV operations is preferred.
