The Catering Director oversees all catering and event operations provides support and assistance with Catering activities as well providing assistance to the concession managers in the profitable management of concessions operations, as needed. The Catering Director will independently initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion and transfer. The Catering Director will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant and cooperative work environment.
The Catering Director will oversee and collaborate with C-Type clientel as well as Alameda County Fair Event Coordinators and Director of Events. Comunication and timliness of correspondance is crucial in this position.
The Catering Director will provide oversight and resolution responsibility for employee performance issues. The Catering Director must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running of any assigned event. A critical function of the Catering Director will be to actively mentor, train and help employees and volunteers meet company quality standards. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which to evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and strong technical (computer and POS) aptitude required.
This role will pay a salary of $70,000 to $80,000.

The Cashier utilizes a cash register and accepts payment. Prepares and serves concession items to guests. Serves premade beverages to guests, ability to write food orders down clearly. Ability to maintain a clean work area. Must work as a team with our cooks. Restock, and write needs for following week.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.50 to $17.00.

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day to day Concession Operations in conjuncture with the Concessions Manager. Supervise and motivate concession team members to achieve sales revenue. Coordinate with Concessions Manager on concession events and ensure that each concession station is stocked and staffed. Assist in inventory management before and after each event.
This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. This role will pay an hourly wage of $22 to $24.

The AssistantConcessions Manager is responsible for the effective management of venue concessions operations including inventory controls, product ordering, training new employees, cash controls, compliance with alcohol service polices, cleaning, safety, guest service, employee/volunteer training and supervision, warehouse oversight, troubleshooting, closing duties, event planning support, food preparation and production, and any other tasks assigned by the DFB. The Assistant Concessions Manager must provide a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth operation of the Concessions Dept.

The Warehouse Runner is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, loadings, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers and equipment maintenance. They are also responsible for the timely distribution of food and beverage products throughout the venue with attention to accuracy and organization.
