The Line Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue. The Line Cook will often have direct contact with the public working in areas such as a buffet line slicing meats or preparing dishes to order. The Line Cook must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.   This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$24.00.  

The Director of Ticket Sales & Premium Experience serves as the primary point of contact for premium seating areas and group sales within Chartway Arena and S.B. Ballard Stadium. This position is responsible for revenue generation, event creation, servicing, promoting, and providing positive guest experiences for all events. This position will be responsible for selling suites for all non-ODU events and group ticket sales.     This role pays an annual salary of $65,000-$68,000 and is commission eligible

The primary responsibility of a Commissary Runner is to deliver food and beverage from the commissary prep area to the 3 portable food carts on the concourse as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure great guest experiences. Commissary runners will also be responsible for prepping food and any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.   This role will pay an hourly rate of $13.00 to $14.00 and is tip eligible.

The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Portion control, food waste and sanitation are additional areas that the Cook must be aware of while operating in the kitchen.   This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 to $16.00   

The Fry Cook is responsible for preparing menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The FRY Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.  Portion control, food waste and sanitation are additional areas that the FRY Cook must be aware of while operating in the kitchen. The fry cook will report to the grill cook for further instruction.   This role will pay an hourly rate of $14.00 to $15.00

This is a front-line customer service position for Chartway Arena and ODU Athletic events. Ticket Sellers assist customers in person at the arena and ODU Athletic facilities in addition to handling phone calls. Transactions typically include ticket sales (working through customer seating and price requests, cash handling, credit card processing, using a computer), will call functions (locating tickets, researching confirmation details), and customer inquiries (understanding policies and procedures, providing accurate information, researching answers and transactions) while providing a high-level of customer service.
