The individual hired will work out of the corporate office in Los Angeles on the OVG Global Partnerships team. Suitable for the role are smart, curious and entrepreneurial professionals who have a track record of success in the sports & entertainment sponsorship industry. This candidate will primarily be working on National Sales projects (Arena Alliance, Theater Alliance, OVG360, OVG National Partnerships) within the OVG Global Partnerships division and assist the team with various tasks that vary from Business Development, Sales, Platform & Proposal Development, Reporting, Communication with Alliance members, etc.
This role will pay an wage: $27.50.

This role will temporarily be located in either Los Angeles or Philadelphia. OVG360 partnered with the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Isenberg School of Management this year to develop an immersive, hands-on internship experience for UMass students. The internship offers practical, real-world experience in the event and entertainment industry at UBS Arena in Elmont, NY and Enmaket Arena in Savannah, GA. Our immersive internship program provides access to areas of arena management and the event planning process including Marketing, Operations, Sales and Event Management. This program was offered to Junior, Seniors, or Graduate students, with a focus on students from underrepresented groups. Two students are selected this summer to participate in the 8-week paid program and honored with a $5,000 scholarship to help offset any living expenses they incurred while working at the venues.
The Catering Sales Assistant provides support and assistance to the Catering Sales Manager and Director of Catering in coordinating catering sales efforts and event planning efforts. The job involves initiation and development of quality leads to ensure growth of catering sales.
The primary responsibility of a catering sales assistant is to assist the Catering Sales Manager and Director of Catering to develop existing business and solicit new catering business through catering lead generation and catering sales marketing. The catering sales assistant helps the team solicit new catering customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques.
Other important duties include assisting in booking, selling, planning and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. Generating revenue, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high, conducting catering sales presentations and catering sales calls also falls under the purview of a catering sales assistant job.

The Executive Chef has the primary duty of managing the culinary team, a recognized department of venue’s F&B operation. The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the direction of the kitchen’s daily activities in accordance with OVG policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability and a positive, productive and compliant work environment. The Executive Chef is solely responsible for the effective management and operation of the culinary team including event planning support, scheduling, food preparation and production, food cost control, compliance with food safety and sanitation policies, cleaning, kitchen safety, employee training and supervision, and any other tasks assigned by the F&B Director. The Executive Chef must provide a high level of oversight, culinary proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running all food outlets and events.
