The Maintenance Technician is responsible for effective preventative and planned maintenance of site assets as well as troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and carpentry for Spectra at our venue.   This position is required to work event preparation, event presentations, move-ins, and move-outs. Depending on event schedules, hours of work may be long and varied. Maintain appearance of facility including snow and ice removal, mowing and trimming, weeding and spraying, painting, and cleaning.

Conversion Crew Members will perform a multitude of tasks to setup, run, and breakdown of all needed seating, table, staging, equipment for events hosted at the Alerus Center.

Parking Supervisor will assist the Parking Manager in daily operations of all Iowa Events Center parking locations. Position is responsible for various administrative duties and ensuring staff has appropriate knowledge and tools for customer service focus and efficient operations.

The part time Electrician performs Journeyman electrician level and leadwork duties, under general direction, in the technical operation, maintenance and repair of electrical generating equipment, fire and smoke detection system, HVAC, building automation systems, and auxiliary systems throughout the Iowa Events Center.  Responsible for performing skilled tasks in accordance with the standard practices of the electrical trade.  Accountable to the full time Electrician and/or Asst Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer.

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue.  The Line Cook will often have direct contact with the public working in areas such as a buffet line slicing meats or preparing dishes to order. The Line Cook must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.   This position is based at MGM Park in Biloxi, MS,. 

The Dishwasher washes and sanitizes all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment and small wares. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
