The Sous Chef to be the second in command in our kitchen, following our Director of Culinary Services specifications and guidelines. They will be responsible for all managing aspects of the assigned Kitchen and its personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/ storage of all food items in accordance with OVG standards. OVG Hospitality, has an immediate opening for an Executive Sous Chef at McCormick Place Convention Center. This position reports to the Director of Culinary Innovations with responsibilities to include purchasing, inventory control, scheduling and managing culinary staff, food safety program, cost of goods accountability, labor management, food production and quality control.
This role will pay a salary of $90,000 to $115,000.

This individual ultimately oversees every managerial, full-time and part-time position, and ensures full compliance with state and federal labor laws, sanitation and food-related ordinances, and alcohol service regulations.
