The Event Manager will manage every aspect of their assigned events from the advance planning stages through the end of the event; hire, train, schedule and supervise all event staff; oversee building security and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly; coordinate communication between event staff/security and delegate assignments; be responsible for and ensure overall customer and lessee satisfaction and experience.
The Executive Chef has the primary duty of managing the culinary team, a recognized department of venue’s F&B operation. The Executive Chef will actively supervisor, coach, counsel, direct, train and mentor employees in meeting company qualify standards, and will independently initiate and authorize all employment actions such as hiring, termination, suspension, discipline, promotion and transfer. The Executive Chef will actively and independently manage all aspects of employee relations to ensure a positive, harmonious, compliant and cooperative work environment.
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the direction of the kitchen’s daily activities in accordance with OVG policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability and a positive, productive and compliant work environment. The Executive Chef is solely responsible for the effective management and operation of the culinary team including event planning support, scheduling, food preparation and production, food cost control, compliance with food safety and sanitation policies, cleaning, kitchen safety, employee training and supervision, and any other tasks assigned by the F&B Director. The Executive Chef must provide a high level of oversight, culinary proficiency and operational/personnel support to ensure the smooth running all food outlets and events.
This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The Executive Chef must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which to evenings and weekends. Salary: $65,000-$70,000
The General Manager is responsible for the efficient, professional and profitable operation of the food service operations at the assigned Spectra venue. This individual ultimately oversees every managerial, f/t and p/t position, and ensures full compliance with state and federal labor laws, sanitation and food-related ordinances, and alcohol service regulations. In addition to managing the day to day business operations, the General Manager solicits new sources of revenue, both on and off the venue property.

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue. The Line Cook will often have direct contact with the public working in areas such as a buffet line slicing meats or preparing dishes to order. The Line Cook must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

Under general supervision, the Sales Coordinator provides assistance and administrative support to the Senior Sales Manager, Sales Manager and Marketing Manager; assists in coordinating the licensing of space and booking of events for the facility.

An Overnight Security Attendant is a part - time employee who will act as primary security of all assets at the Ford Idaho Center. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for our guests and ensuring all buildings are secure.

The Ford Idaho Center is a unique combination of three venues under one complex: Ford Idaho Center Arena, Ford Idaho Sports Center, and Ford Idaho Horse Park. The complex is flexible to meet the needs of events of all types and sizes. It is well-suited for conventions, meetings, tradeshows, sporting, social and entertainment events.
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the overall effective operation of assigned area/level concession locations including food preparation and production, inventory, cash control, total compliance with alcohol service policies, cleaning, safety, guest service, employee/volunteer supervision, and closing duties. The Concessions Supervisor will provide limited oversight of employee performance issues. The focus will be on lending support to the SM and NPO Stand Leaders to ensure that all aspects of concessions operations within the assigned sector are fully operational. The majority of the Concessions Supervisor’s time will be spent actively mentoring, training and helping employees and volunteers meet company quality standards, and in promoting a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
The Cook is responsible for preparing menu items utilizing cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment. The Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Portion control, food waste and sanitation are additional areas that the Cook must be aware of while operating in the kitchen.
The Catering Attendant will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
The Suite Attendant is responsible for serving guests in the Suites. The Suite Attendant must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment.

The Banquet and Restaurant Supervisor oversees all aspects of a banquet or event, including set-up, food presentation, serving, and cleanup while focusing on detail and quality presentation and customer service. Banquet supervisors are also responsible for training and coaching of the banquet staff. Restaurant Supervision will include our Prelude Experience open priot to select shows and Performances at the Tanger Center.
