As a member of the Guest Services Team, you will be an essential part of the Guest experience and help build memories that last a lifetime. In this role, you will wear many different hats and have the potential to work in several different areas of the arena. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to ushering, ticket scanning, concourse customer service, greeter. You will have the opportunity to assist our guests by offering directions and sharing information while creating a World Class experience. Your job will be to keep our fans safe and informed while still maintaining a fun and friendly atmosphere
Perform the setup and changeover of the arena on an event-to-event basis. Also, assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the building. Overnight hours are to be expected on occasion.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

The Chesapeake Arena on the campus of UMBC is looking for friendly, motivated individuals to work the ticket sales windows at the Box Office. As a ticket seller, you will assist all patrons with purchasing tickets at walk up and troubleshooting potential ticket issues they may have.

The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for serving guests quality food and beverage following the company’s standard recipes. The Kitchen Supervisor will prepare and cook meats, soups and sauces and supervise all other aspects of the food and beverage operation. The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for the training of all kitchen staff.
The Kitchen Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
The Bar Back is responsible for backing up the bartender by restocking products to ensure the bartenders stay fully stocked during events while ensuring all policies and procedures regarding alcohol dispensing are followed. The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the food & beverage serving of guests in the arena at various concessions stands, bars, and portable food & beverage locations. The Concessions Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. The Concessions Supervisor will assist the Concessions Manager and the rest of the OVG leadership team with projects including training, inventory and special events.
The Warehouse Porter is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehosue operations including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean up, transfers and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evennings, and weekend. Open availability, professional, presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and independent decision-making skills are required.
Arena Parking Staff is responsible for managing event day traffic and operations within the parking lots surrounding Chesapeake Arena on the campus of UMBC. Arena parking staff will be the first point of contact in providing a memorable first impression for all guests and employees by providing direction and answering any questions guests may have.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00-$19.00
