With the support of the Director of Marketing & Sales and the Suites & Sales Manager, the Marketing & Sales Coordinator will assist with executing marketing campaigns and promotions, public relations, grassroots marketing, and maintenance of the Tribute Communities Centre’s website and social media channels. The Marketing & Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for prospecting new clients and assist with securing reservations and payments for group sales, suites and corporate sales initiatives.


This position will work as part of the marketing and sales team whose purpose is to drive revenue for all facets of the venue. Responsibilities will shift throughout the seasons between marketing, group sales, premium seating and corporate sales.


  • Assist with the development of strategic plans to maximize sales in all areas of ticketing, suites, group sales, and corporate sales
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing, advertising and group sales campaigns for all concerts, family shows, sporting events and other miscellaneous events at the Tribute Communities Centre
  • Provide premium seating and corporate sales support for all events
  • Primary account representative and responsible for group ticket clients and members of the SuperGroup program
  • Execute sales calls as well as researching and contacting corporations, scouts, schools, and other businesses that may be interested in groups sales, premium seating and corporate sales opportunities
  • Produce and execute targeted e-mail campaigns for all group sales events through Salesforce and live events through Cheetah
  • Responsible for data entry within Salesforce and processing ticket orders through the Paciolan ticketing system
  • Develop and maintain relationships with promoters, event producers, sub-contractors, tenants and clients including creating and executing applicable letter of agreements.
  • Gather data and analytics to create marketing and group sales recap summaries for facility events
  • Develop collateral material for internal departments and upcoming events using Adobe applications
  • Execute market research avenues by surveying past purchasers and organizing focus groups
  • Assist in the maintenance of the website for the Tribute Communities Centre, as well as interacting on all social media platforms
  • Assist in day-of-event operations associated with live and sporting events through such initiatives as media relations, corporate functions or activations, pre-show parties, client parties, and more before, during and/or after the event
  • Attend and promote at festivals and community events at off-site locations throughout the year
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • A degree in marketing or a related field
  • Sales experience of any kind
  • Strong leadership, organizational and creative thinking skills
  • Proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
  • Possess excellent people skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with the general public, staff, and co-workers in a positive, professional manner
  • Graphic design experience with Adobe applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience managing social media platforms, and strong knowledge and experience with interactive marketing
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days with extended number of days
