Ticket Seller | Part-Time | Ryan Field at Northwestern University

The Ticket Seller provides outstanding customer service while accurately selling and processing tickets for athletic events, concerts, and special events. This role operates ticketing software, processes payments, and assists guests with ticket-related inquiries.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00.

The new Ryan Field will create a world-class home for Northwestern University Athletics and a best-in-the-nation football experience for fans and players and be a year-round asset for the community.

• Sell event tickets using the venue’s designated ticketing system.
• Process cash, credit card, and other approved payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist guests with ticket purchases, exchanges, and other ticketing needs.
• Balance the cash drawer and reconcile daily ticket sales in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide guests with accurate event, seating, pricing, and venue information.
• Resolve ticketing and guest service issues professionally and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Follow all established cash-handling, ticketing, and financial control procedures.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming experience for guests throughout the ticketing process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous customer service and cash-handling experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and navigate ticketing systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide professional and courteous service to guests.
• Ability to accurately handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days as required.
