Parking Supervisor | Part-Time | Tsongas Center (UMass - Lowell)

The Parking Supervisor will be coordinating and supervising the parking operations for Tsongas Center, LeLacheur Park, and Kennedy Family Athletic Complex. All aspects pertaining to event parking management and assigned traffic control. Work involves responsibility for the supervision of on-site Parking Ambassadors and the coordination of all operational activities. Employees in this position are expected to be able to perform any and all work tasks and comply with any work schedules, attendance, or duty requirements that may be established by department rules. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general direction of the event manager.

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00.

• Coordinates and supervises all parking activities and parking ambassadors.
• Process cashless guest payments through handheld equipment.
• Handles complaints and related problems with the public, staff, or traffic police involving parking issues and any other related areas.
• Coordinates parking plans with third-party vendors for special events occurring.
• Monitors performance of vendors to ensure all assets are properly maintained and operated.
• Perform parking inventory management.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

• High school education or equivalent. 
• 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus. 
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Strong communication skills. 
• Ability to work effectively as a team player. 
• Must have flexibility to work all shifts, including graveyard and weekends.
