Position Summary

The Membership Experience Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Club's membership growth, engagement, retention, and overall member satisfaction. This position serves as a key ambassador of the Club, creating exceptional experiences for prospective members, new members, current members, and guests before, during, and after every Club interaction. This position supports membership sales, marketing, member engagement, event coordination, communications, and new member onboarding. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-focused, outgoing, and passionate about building relationships that strengthen member loyalty and drive membership growth.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate between $20.00 - $25.00

Responsibilities

Membership Sales & Prospect Development

  • Support membership growth through prospect outreach, lead generation, and relationship-building within the community.
  • Coordinate prospect communications, follow-up efforts, and sales activity tracking to maintain a strong pipeline.
  • Assist with membership tours and deliver a welcoming, professional introduction to the Club.
  • Collaborate on the planning, promotion, and execution of membership recruitment and prospect events.

Member Experience & Engagement

  • Serve as a visible and welcoming Club ambassador, fostering meaningful relationships with members and guests.
  • Promote Club programs, services, events, and amenities to encourage participation and engagement.
  • Execute member recognition and outreach initiatives, including birthdays, anniversaries, special invitations, and personalized communications.
  • Create memorable member experiences that enhance satisfaction, engagement, and retention.

New Member Onboarding & Retention

  • Support and coordinate all aspects of the new member onboarding experience.
  • Conduct welcome outreach, facilitate orientation programs, and connect members with Club activities and services.
  • Monitor new member engagement and satisfaction through consistent follow-up and relationship-building.
  • Assist with member retention initiatives, feedback collection, and resignation follow-up efforts.

Club Communications & Marketing

  • Coordinate and distribute member and prospect communications that reflect Club standards and brand identity.
  • Support social media management, content creation, engagement, and online reputation management.
  • Maintain and update marketing materials, digital platforms, and event communications.
  • Create personalized communications that strengthen member connections and reinforce Club value.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Assist with the planning, promotion, registration, and execution of Club events and programs.
  • Coordinate event communications, guest experiences, and on-site logistics to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Capture event content and support post-event communications, recognition, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain a cohesive and engaging annual event calendar.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Maintain accurate member and prospect records, databases, and reporting systems.
  • Support data analysis, membership metrics, and operational reporting to inform decision-making.
  • Assist with member inquiries, reservations, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide support for departmental projects, committees, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Service Excellence Expectations

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized service at every member and guest interaction.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, positivity, accountability, and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Address member concerns proactively and support effective service recovery and resolution efforts.
  • Collaborate across departments while remaining flexible to meet evolving Club and member needs.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of previous experience with sales support, event coordination, or a related field. Membership sales or business development experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of private clubs, hospitality, events, or customer loyalty programs.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional customer service mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills. Professional phone etiquette.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation is a plus.
