Position Summary

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team to create a positive guest experience. 

 

This is a temporary role that will start June 11, 2026, and will end on June 23, 2026

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $19.50 - $21.50 and is tip eligible.

 

This position will remain open until June 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and featured items.
  • Provide quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with guests, co-workers, and management staff.
  • Ensure food is served promptly at the proper temperature and according to guest orders.
  • Maintain neat and accurate presentation of all food and beverage items.
  • Pre-bus and fully bus tables as needed, especially during peak service periods.
  • Stock beverage stations and service areas with necessary supplies including ice, glassware, juices, and condiments.
  • Maintain responsiveness to guest requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance and workspace at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, bussers, supervisors, and fellow servers to ensure smooth and efficient service operations.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of venue and restaurant offerings to accurately answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
  • Demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality while working scheduled events.
  • This position operates in a high-volume event and hospitality setting and may require standing and walking for extended periods, carrying trays or supplies, and working in crowded or loud environments during events.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
  • Previous food service experience required.
  • Must possess a valid food handler’s certificate and alcohol service permit.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on event schedules and business needs.
