Position Summary

The Concessions Culinary Supervisor oversees back-of-house food operations across multiple concession locations at Polar Park during games and events. This role provides leadership and oversight to Culinary Leads and concession cooks, ensuring efficient food production, consistent menu execution, and compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards. The Culinary Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining quality, cleanliness, and operational readiness in a fast-paced, high-volume ballpark environment. This position works closely with Concessions Supervisors and Management to support service flow, resolve operational issues, and uphold Oak View Group and Polar Park culinary standards.

 

This is a seasonal role from January 14, 2026 and will end on April 30, 2026.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00 and is tip eligible

 

This position will remain open until April 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee culinary operations across multiple concession locations during games and events
  • Support and supervise Culinary Leads and concession cooks to ensure efficient food production and service
  • Ensure consistent execution of menus, recipes, portioning, and quality standards
  • Monitor food safety, sanitation, and temperature control in accordance with local regulations and Oak View Group standards
  • Verify completion of temperature logs, prep logs, cleaning checklists, and food safety documentation
  • Conduct kitchen walk-throughs and address food safety or operational issues in real time
  • Coordinate food production timing and quantities to support service flow and demand
  • Assist with opening, mid-event, and closing culinary procedures across locations
  • Identify and escalate equipment, supply, or facility issues related to BOH operations
  • Communicate operational updates, staffing needs, and compliance concerns to Concessions Management
  • Support special events, inspections, audits, and non-game-day culinary operations as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous culinary or food service experience required; supervisory or lead culinary experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control practices

  • Ability to lead and support multiple BOH teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to monitor and enforce operational and food safety standards consistently

  • Experience completing or overseeing food safety documentation and kitchen procedures

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the Polar Park event schedule

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding BOH environment

  • ServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Manager certification required or willingness to obtain
