Position Summary

The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the food & beverage serving of guests in the arena at various concessions stands, bars, and portable food & beverage locations. The Concessions Supervisor must be personable and able to work in an ever- changing fast-paced environment. The Concessions Supervisor will assist the Concessions Manager and the rest of the OVG leadership team with projects including training, inventory and special events.

 

The Concessions Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

 

This is a seasonal role from January 14, 2026 and will end on April 30, 2026.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$25.00

 

This position will remain open until April 10, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee concession stand operations across multiple permanent and temporary locations during games and events

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for Stand Leads, Culinary Leads, and frontline staff

  • Provide visible, on-floor leadership to support service flow, staffing coverage, and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor and adjust staffing levels in real time to support peak service periods
  • Assist with opening, mid-event, and closing procedures across assigned concession locations
  • Ensure concession operations meet Oak View Group standards and Polar Park operational expectations
  • Enforce compliance with all local, state, and Oak View Group food safety and sanitation policies
  • Monitor proper food handling, temperature control, allergen awareness, and sanitation practices
  • Verify completion and accuracy of required temperature logs, cleaning checklists, and food safety documentation
  • Support Culinary Leads with health inspections, kitchen audits, and corrective actions as needed
  • Support inventory management by monitoring product levels, coordinating restocks, and escalating shortages
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment, facility, or supply issues to management
  • Ensure BOH and FOH areas remain clean, organized, and operational throughout service
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and real-time feedback to Stand Leads and frontline team members
  • Reinforce service standards, operational procedures, and safety expectations
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new and returning staff as needed
  • Respond to and assist with guest service issues, complaints, and operational disruptions
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with Concessions Management regarding performance, staffing, and operational needs
  • Support special events, promotions, and non-game-day activations as assigned

Qualifications

  • At Least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
