Position Summary

The Concession Runners/Stocker works closely with the Concessions Supervisor and Concessions Leads to ensure all concession areas are stocked and maintained according to set pars. Concession Runners are responsible for maintaining the highest standards for inventory control, organization, safety, and sanitation in all concession areas.

 

Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking. Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus, peripheral vision and close vision.

 

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 to $18.00 and is tip eligible

About the Venue

The Crown Complex is a multi-purpose venue in Fayetteville, North Carolina that hosts the Crown Coliseum, an indoor stadium which is currently home to the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team. The complex also hosts the Crown Theater, a 2,400-seat auditorium, and the Crown Arena, a 4,500-seat venue.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the set up and stocking of all concession stands, portable, and bar locations.
  • Maintain pars in all concession areas during business hours
  • Maintaining company standards of inventory control, safety & sanitation, presentation, and the quality of food and beverage items in all concession areas.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all concessions by removing all trash and recyclables.
  • Responsible for rotating food products during the stocking process to ensure the freshest products are being served to guests.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the concessions storage areas to include, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, organizing storage areas and cleaning commissary dishes.
  • Maintain flexible work schedule, must be able to work according to business demands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests
  • All other tasks assigned by the Concessions Supervisor.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule and must be able to work according to business demands.
  • Proficiency in writing and reading english.
  • Ability to understand and practice basic math fundamentals.
  • Ability to follow instructions and provide the desired outcomes.

Must be able to work in the following conditions:

  • Exposed to weather and non-weather-related cold temperatures.
  • In areas with low levels of CO exposure.
  • Wet and slippery floors.
  • Extreme hot surfaces.
  • Pinch points and tight working spaces throughout building.
  • Exposed to high noise levels.
