A Banquet Server plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during events. Their primary function is to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and attended to, following event specifications and service standards. From the setup of banquet spaces to the seamless execution of meal service, they maintain an acute focus on detail and hospitality. Banquet Servers work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely delivery of courses, adapt to guest needs in real-time, and uphold the ambiance and quality of the event.
Beyond serving, Banquet Servers contribute to the overall success of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the service. They are responsible for resetting spaces for subsequent events and ensuring that all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately. Whether it's a formal gala, corporate event, or wedding reception. Banquet Servers are integral in creating a positive impression of the venue and event host, embodying professionalism, efficiency, and a guest-focused attitude.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00-$23.00.

The Pasadena Convention Center is a campus-style meetings and events complex in Pasadena, California offering 130,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
Event Setup and Preparation: Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications, including setting up tables, chairs, linens, and service stations while ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards.
Service Execution: Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests during events, including serving courses, refilling beverages, and promptly addressing guest needs.
Clean-Up and Reset: Break down and clean event spaces after services, including clearing tables, storing equipment, and resetting the room for the next event while adhering to company cleanliness standards.
Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to stay composed and efficient during busy events.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide a welcoming and accommodating experience for guests.
Physical Stamina and Dexterity: Ability to stand for extended periods, carry heavy trays, and move quickly while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
