Position Summary

The Director of Creative Services will be responsible for leading the development and execution of all in-venue entertainment, event presentation, and creative services content for the Santander Arena & Performing Arts Center. The Director of Creative Services will oversee venue branding fan engagement, and delivering high-impact, cohesive storytelling across live events and digital platforms. They will be the project manager for the creative services team for Santander Arena, the ECHL Reading Royal, and will lead a team. 

 

This role pays an annual salary of $60,300 - $62,500 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute all aspects of in-game entertainment, including scripting, music, lighting, video content, crowd prompts, promotions, and timing. 
  • Lead game night production teams including stage managers, DJs, hosts, mascots, and other performance staff. 
  • Create show rundowns and ensure flawless execution of all production elements across various event types (games, concerts, community events, etc.). 
  • Collaborate with marketing, sponsorship, and ticketing teams to integrate brand messaging and partner activations into live events. 
  • Serve as creative lead with internal staff to develop sales, marketing, and event services collateral. 
  • Prepare creative briefs, manage work orders, prioritize and assign work to the Designer and Production Artists.  
  • Implement quality standards and approval flow of creative assets.
  • Traffic all approved assets to the stakeholder or third party upon completion. 
  • Duties as assigned.
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking throughout the building, long periods of standing. 

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 Years in Creative Services; 3 - 5 plus years in a Supervisory Role all preferably in the Entertainment/Hospitality/Sports Management Industries. 
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Passion for creating unique experiences to enhance the brand of the company.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use utmost discretion when privy to sensitive information 
  • Must have strong project management experience.
  • Must be self-directed and able to work independently, while also flourishing in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.  
  • Proven track record of balancing multiple projects simultaneously through successfully. 
  • Must be adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.  
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
