Position Summary

The Catering Busser supports the catering team by maintaining clean and organized dining and service areas before, during, and after events. This role ensures that guests receive prompt and attentive service by resetting tables, replenishing supplies, and assisting servers and kitchen staff as needed. The busser plays a key role in creating a polished and efficient guest experience.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $19.00.

This position will remain open until August 8, 2025.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event setup, including table arrangements, linens, silverware, and glassware.

  • Clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware quickly and discreetly.

  • Maintain cleanliness in service areas, including buffets, drink stations, and guest areas.

  • Refill water glasses and other non-alcoholic beverages as needed.

  • Assist servers with food and beverage delivery when required.

  • Ensure proper sanitation and disposal of food waste and trash.

  • Break down and clean up event space after service.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies during service.

  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth event flow.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or catering preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedule.

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
