Position Summary

The Traveling Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meals for VIPs, players, staff, and guests at golf tournaments and related events. This role requires frequent travel and the ability to deliver exceptional culinary experiences in varying on-site kitchen environments. The ideal candidate is passionate, adaptable, and committed to excellence in both flavor and presentation.
 
This role pays an hourly rate of $35.00.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prep, and execute diverse menus tailored to each golf event and client preferences

  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and safety standards are maintained in all environments

  • Set up and break down mobile or temporary kitchens as required by event logistics

  • Lead or assist kitchen teams, delegating tasks and maintaining efficiency under pressure

  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests with professionalism

  • Maintain accurate inventory and coordinate with logistics for ordering and transporting ingredients and equipment

  • Collaborate with event planners and FOH staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

  • Represent the brand professionally and respectfully while on-site at all events

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Chef in catering, hospitality, or fine dining

  • Experience with large-scale event cooking and mobile kitchen setups preferred

  • Culinary degree or equivalent training is a plus

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (weekends, holidays, and long shifts required)

  • Excellent knife skills and food presentation abilities

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards (ServSafe Certification preferred)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

  • Exceptional time management, communication, and team leadership skills
