Position Summary

The Suites Runner assists the Suite Manager in providing Suites guests with a pleasant experience. Suites Runner coordinates, directs, monitors and supervises all Suites related duties.

 

This role pays an hourly wage of $10.00 to $12.00, plus tips.

About the Venue

The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located in downtown Tulsa and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the region. Offering 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square footage designed to accommodate concerts, family shows and other special events, the BOK Center has been named one of the country's best venues.

Responsibilities

  • Assists and oversees all food and beverage requirements pertaining to Suite Catering Orders.
  • Assists with the ordering, receiving, and inventory of all accountable items.
  • Ensure adequate storage of product by continual supervision of stock levels.
  • Ensure quality products are delivered in a fresh and timely manner as guided by Premium Suites Manager.
  • Works in conjunction with Suite Staff, Kitchen Personal and Stewarding department.
  • Ensure that proper grooming and sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Supports event schedules and assignments based on business demands.
  • Ensure Customer Service, complies with standards of service.
  • Establish and Maintain positive client relationships.
  • Maintain a professional work ethic.
  • Able to work irregular hours as dictated by event schedule, including, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Provide the highest customer service excellence.
  • Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (including other departments).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. 

 

Education and/or Experience

  • High School graduate or GED completion certificate.
  • One (1) to six (6) months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed for events.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • This position requires stooping , lifting, and substantial walking. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
