Position Summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Director of Analytics to join our team at a premier football venue, based in Last Vegas, NV. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this leadership role is critical in steering our strategic decision-making processes through advanced data analytics across all aspects of stadium operations and venue management.

 

The Director of Analytics will oversee the analytics function, providing leadership and direction to ensure that data-driven insights are at the forefront of enhancing the fan experience and operational efficiency. This position plays a key role in shaping the future of sports entertainment by leveraging cutting-edge analytical techniques and technologies.

 

This role pays an annual salary of $125,000 to $140,000 and is bonus eligible

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive analytics strategies to maximize fan engagement, optimize game day operations, and increase revenue.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to provide strategic insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.
  • Oversee the design and deployment of interactive dashboards and reporting solutions to provide real-time insights to stakeholders
  • Oversee the integration of advanced predictive analytics and business intelligence tools into the operational workflow to enhance real-time decision-making.
  • Partner with the corporate analytics team on the development of scalable data architectures and analytics platforms that handle complex data sets relevant to all facets of stadium management and event hosting.
  • Represent the analytics department in executive meetings, contributing to broader business strategies and objectives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 7+ years of data analytics experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Expertise with analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and BI platforms (e.g., PowerBI)
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, forecasting, and data mining techniques with a proven track record in managing substantial analytical projects
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex data sets and converting them into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in project management and the ability to drive projects to completion timely and effectively
