The Box Office and Premium Manager is responsible for helping oversee and enhance the ticketing operation, from back-end processes to customer interaction. They will also be responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in all Club and premium seating areas. This role entails optimizing inventory management, managing communications, and implementing innovative solutions to support revenue growth. The Ticket Operations Premium Manager will work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless ticketing experience, drive promotional efforts, and maximize ticket sales. This role pays a yearly salary of $45,000 to $50,000 plus bonus

The VSU Multi-Purpose Center is a state-of-the-art multipurpose venue located on the campus of Virginia State University, in South Chesterfield, VA. The arena is able to seat more than 6,000 guests, making it the largest events venue located south of Richmond in the state of Virginia. The amenities-packed arena serves as a full entertainment facility hosting athletic events, commencements, live concerts, family shows, trade shows, and more. Formally opening its doors to the public in March of 2016, the VSU Multi-Purpose Center is home to the Virginia State University Trojans Basketball and Volleyball teams. The MPC is managed by OVG, which is a full-service venue management and hospitality company that helps client-partners reimagine the sports, live entertainment, and convention industries for the betterment of the venue, employees, artists, athletes, and surrounding communities.

• Ensures all service areas are set prior to the event
• Responsible for ensuring quality and efficient hospitality throughout all Premium Club areas
• Responsible for supervising team members on non-event and event days
• Monitor and maintain food quality
• Provide essential support for back-end operations, ensuring efficient ticket inventory management and a seamless customer purchase flow.
• Manage ticket sales processes, including internal sales and complimentary tickets, ensuring timely fulfillment and resolution of inquiries.
• Assist in the creation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly ticketing reports.
• Monitor and analyze ticket sales performance, identifying opportunities for continual business improvement.
• Help oversee scanner programming and operations, ensuring a smooth entry process for attendees.
• Coordinate with venue operations and security teams on crowd control and ticketing-related issues during events.
• Monitor the daily operations of the ticketing system, ensuring it aligns with necessary compliance and restriction standards

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with proven experience in ticket operations management or a related field within the entertainment or sports industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize processes and report on sales performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship building.
• Familiarity with Ticketmaster platforms such as Account Manager Tools, Host, TM1, and CRM solutions.
• Highly organized with a strategic mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate effectively with various departments and external partners.
• Fast-paced environment requiring quick problem-solving and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
