Position Summary

The Party Deck/Catering Attendant is responsible for the set-up, service and clean up of club areas during for special events & party deck caterings during WooSox games and other events as needed. If you have catering experience or server experience and can provide GREAT customer Service, please apply.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $15, plus tips.

About the Venue

Polar Park is a baseball park in Worcester, Massachusetts, serving as the home of the Worcester Red Sox, Minor League Baseball team competing at the Triple-A level and an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with premium standards of service.
  • Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
  • Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
    • Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with premium standards of service.
    • Maintain inventory for both food and beverage stations.
    • Maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
    • Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
    • Ability to work independently during slower times.
    • Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED strong preferred. Equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • At Least 1-2 years’ experience working in Catering & Events in a food & beverage or customer service role preferred
