Events by RHC (the Hospitality division of OVG) is looking to hire a Receiver at our Warehouse and Commissary Kitchen at 48th Street. The Receiver will ensure accurate record keeping of invoices, participate in monthly inventory and assist with deliveries and pickup within all departments.

This role pays an hourly wage of $22 to $24.

This position will remain open until April 18, 2025.

• Ensure all deliveries are picked up by and delivered to proper department representatives
• Verify, count and sign packing slips, match with invoices 
• Communicate shorts and overages on invoices
• Place food orders
• Responsible for organization and sanitation of receiving areas and storage rooms
• Label, date, store & rotate all food and beverage to avoid spoilage and control waste while maintaining health, sanitation and safety standards and regulations
• Receive and organize all equipment and deliveries making sure all items are stored correctly
• Communicate all discrepancies to the Chef
• Perform Porter duties as needed
• Participate in month end Inventory

• Purchasing Food Management software experience required (Preferred software knowledge of Caterxpert & Adaco.) some other examples of software experience that can translate over are (Galley Solutions, BirchStreet Systems, Caterease)
• 2-5 years previous experience in a receiving position in the food and beverage environment
• Hotel Experience or High Volume establishment experience a plus.
• Must adhere to all company specific safety policies
• Work cooperatively with other team members
• Able to take direction and constructive feedback from Management
• Maintain a positive attitude in the work environment
• Highest level of professionalism
