Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Partnerships, the Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for cultivating and enhancing the premium seating and sponsorship client experience including execution of luxury suite and hospitality experiences, activating sponsor agreements, enhancing premium seating offerings, and maintaining client relationships to achieve department revenue goals for OVG at Angel Of The Winds Arena, Edward D. Hansen Conference Center, and Everett Community Ice Rink. This position reports to the Director of Partnerships.

The Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for generating revenue by activating sponsorship assets including, entitlement spaces, digital advertising, premium seating, and hospitality packages throughout the property and maintaining excellent client communications. We are looking for hard-working, creative individuals who have a passion for the entertainment industry. Suitable candidates for the role are ambitious professionals who value cultivating long-term relationships with high value clients and thrive on activating creative activation strategies. Strong candidates will have experience in premium hospitality, selling sport and entertainment sponsorships, or advertising in Western Washington and possess the capability to work collaboratively with multiple business stakeholders.

 

This role pays an hourly rate of $26 to $28.

About the Venue

Oak View Group is a sports and entertainment company engaged in a wide variety of activities, including arena development, facility management, arena and stadium alliance, sponsorships and partnerships, security services, publications, conferences, and consulting. This position on our Global Partnerships team is located at Angel Of The Winds Arena, a 10,000-seat arena located in the heart of Downtown Everett and home to the Everett Silvertips Hockey Team and Washington Wolfpack AFL team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for growing revenue via new and existing business partnerships and achieving departmental sales goals
  • Create new sales collateral or modify existing collateral as required
  • Manage ticketing distribution and coordinate hospitality for clients.
  • Systematically update and actively pursue sales of single-event suite rental inventory
  • Leverage your passion and empathy to develop a long-term business relationship between clients and the venue.
  • Provide partners with Proof of Performance and Recaps to assist renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Work closely and communicate clearly with the Event Services, Marketing, Hospitality, and Partnership teams to ensure that current clients receive superior service and fulfillment of each contract.
  • Effectively communicate client expectations and contractual obligations to appropriate internal departments to properly execute contracted sponsorship agreements.
  • Create Premium Packages as it relates to special events, and concerts.
  • Participate in servicing clientele through various means including direct contact, newsletters, networking gatherings, etc.
  • Conduct business during non-traditional hours, taking advantage of opportunities to interact with clients and prospects during games, events and off-site gatherings.
  • Day of event responsibilities such as sponsorship activation setup, coordination, entertaining clients, premium seating preparation and fulfilling necessary sponsorship contract obligations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of one year of professional sponsorship, advertising or hospitality experience in a high-performance sales environment; Sports, Entertainment and/or Arena Industry experience preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated, dynamic with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Kore is preferred
  • Must possess problem solving capabilities to address and resolve issues that face a growing enterprise, comfortable in dynamic business situations.
  • Must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non- verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills.
  • Must produce results, yet possess sensitivity towards people and values.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and communication skills as well as the ability to work with others are required.
