Position Summary

Catering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the venue dining areas catering functions. The Catering Supervisor must be personable and able to work in a fast paced environment. The Catering Supervisor will assist in training, inventory and special events. 

 

This role will pay an hourly rate between $23.00 to $25.00.

This position will remain open until April 4, 2025.

About the Venue

Home of the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds baseball team, AutoZone Park serves as a year-round venue for events of all types and purposes, located in Downtown Memphis. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the premium suite area.
  • Responsible for serving beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages if suite attendant needs help.
  • Maintains constant communication with guests and on-site contact to ensure all expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Remains alert of complaints and or/unsatisfied guests and responds appropriately to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains constant contact with kitchen staff to ensure complete effective communication between food production and food service.
  • Assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Responsible for making sure all BEO's are closed out. 
  • Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast paced, event-driven environment.
  • Must have valid Alcohol Server Permit.
