About the Venue

We are currently hiring an Analyst to join our People Systems team to support our HCM processes, employee audits, and assist with strategies to align support systems across the entire organization. This person will work closely with the Manager, People Systems and various departments (including Payroll), as well as, identify gaps/concerns for upgrading HR processes based on day to day activity.

 

This role will pay a salary of $80,000 to $85,000.

This position will remain open until March 2, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Work with both internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and drive the planning, development, testing, and implementation of People System process.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation within all aspects of HR systems and processes.
  • At the direction of the People Systems Manager and system administrators assist with system implementation & User Acceptance testing.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in functional concepts across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Provide regular systems training and information sessions.
  • Coordinate integration development and troubleshooting during testing phases.
  • Oversee standard data reporting requests and custom reporting analysis/escalations.
  • Support HR Project plans, tracking milestones for assigned projects.
  • Review, monitor and escalate employee self-service (ESS) and manager self-service (MSS) requests.
  • Contribute to People Systems-related projects and process improvement.
  • Collaborate across departments to address cross-divisional technological needs.
  • Provide support during go-live and post-production stages.
  • Audit HR processes for data integrity, using queries and data analysis.
  • Maintain system documentation and training aids.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy with highly confidential data.
  • Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Participating in and/or leading projects focused on continuous improvement.
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience working in People Systems or systems-based roles. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
  • Experience and knowledge of current People Systems technical best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with the principles and techniques of report writing, database tables, and systems integration.
  • Experience with HCM systems and in particular, iCIMS and ADP Enterprise HR/Payroll System.
  • Experience reading project specifications and technical system configurations.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both verbal and written form.
  • Organized and able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule, while providing accurate results.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate the ability to exercise effective judgment and initiative.
  • Coordinating onboard presentations and product demos.
  • Auditing data and setting up employee profiles in internal People systems; assisting with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
  • Aligning new employees with managers and their team and communicating involvement procedures to all stakeholders.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and newly hired employees.
  • Providing reporting and project updates to team lead and/or senior management.
  • Prioritizing and managing workload to meet critical deadlines.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and making recommendations on how to improve process efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with all processes and maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Challenging the status quo and proactively identifying process improvements.
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others.

 

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years experience working in HRIS / HR operations.
  • Experience within large employers (>1000 employees).
  • Experience in/with operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event-related services and technical requirements for the types of events anticipated at the facility.
  • Experience in methods, techniques, and procedures to repair and maintain all computer and phone related materials.
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional state and international
