The Parking department will maintain the cleanliness of parking garage space as well as the garage's external perimeter on a daily basis. Personnel, if necessary, may be trained to operate equipment used in the maintenance of the parking garage such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, compactor, and other maintenance equipment. There are varying hours and shifts available based on event related activity.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $15.00.

• Regularly inspect and remove trash, litter, and debris from all areas of the parking garage (interior and exterior).
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Sweep and clean parking areas, stairwells, elevators, and walkways.
• Perform pressure washing of garage floors, walls, ramps, and stairways to remove stains, dirt, and grime.
• Ensure proper drainage and water runoff during pressure washing activities to prevent flooding or water pooling.
• Collect and dispose of all debris, including cigarette butts, leaves, paper, plastic, and other refuse.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas surrounding the garage, including sidewalks, entrance ramps, and parking lot.
• Open and close the parking garage at designated times, ensuring proper security protocols are followed (e.g., unlocking/locking gates, checking security systems).
• Monitor entrance and exit areas, ensuring smooth traffic flow and operation of garage systems.
• Ensure that all garage access points are secure and that the facility is properly locked at closing.
• Perform routine checks of garage equipment, including lighting, gates, and elevators, reporting any issues to the facility manager for repair.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing small damages, and fixing non-functioning equipment (if trained).
• Ensure that all parking signs and markings are visible, clean, and in good condition.
• Assist with parking space management, such as painting or marking new parking spaces when needed.
• Provide assistance to customers as needed, including directing vehicles, answering questions, or providing general information about garage facilities.
• Respond to customer complaints or concerns, escalating issues to the management team when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
• Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual labor (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate early or late shifts for opening and closing the garage.
