Position Summary

The Premium Services Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to enhance the customer’s experience. Thorough knowledge of food and beverage and customer service is required.

 

This position is hourly and pays $17-$21 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Managing events from onset, including meeting with customers, creating necessary paperwork, and being the customer’s go-to person on event day.
  • Assist in the development of banquet event orders as needed.
  • Assisting with large events alongside Catering Manager and Premium Services Manager. 
  • Attending/taking notes during Team Meetings.
  • Assist the Catering Manager in prepping and setting for events. 
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with Menu development.
  • Assists with management and coaching of part time hourly employees.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Demonstrates proficiency and successful experience in food and beverage management, catering, premium, and restaurant management. 
  • Work independently with little supervision. Self-starter.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on creating word documents, Excel spreadsheets, email).
  • Adhere to high standard of business etiquette, professional verbal and written communication.
  • Consistently represent the Company in a professional, positive and knowledgeable manner.
  • Ability to adhere to highest standard of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Demonstrates ability to produce detail-oriented, accurate work.
  • Ability to work an event driven schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems is a plus. 
  • Makes solid, appropriate and independent decisions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and accommodate on-site changes.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to use proactive planning strategies to ensure events run smoothly.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities. 
  • Superior customer service.
  • Adaptability. 
  • Ability to perform basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, division, & multiplication. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) or equivalent from four-year college; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 or more years in Food & Beverage is preferred. 
  • Current Food Handlers Certification is preferred.
  • Current TIPS or ServSafe Certification preferred.
