Position Summary

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, resilient, and secure solutions and architectures that meet the needs of our internal and external clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of various system components, and well as troubleshooting and optimizing systems to enhance performance and reliability. This role requires an individual with strong operational discipline, keen attention to detail, and good communication skills.

 

This role will pay a salary of $92,000 to $105,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop system architectures and specifications based on business requirements
  • Collaborate with the other IT Engineers and business stakeholders to create or support integrations
  • Conduct system analysis and ensure systems meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
  • Implement and configure operating systems, network components, and application software
  • Monitor and tool system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals
  • Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients
  • Support Enterprise Technology tools and systems
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of system architecture, networking, and security principles
  • Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and system management tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) are desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft’s 365 suite of productivity (Office), Identity (EntraID), endpoint management (Intune), and other environment analytics tools
  • Demonstrated experience in the administration and automation (PowerShell / Graph) in the Microsoft Azure platform and related technologies
  • Ability to write queries and analyze large datasets using scripting tools
