Position Summary

Oak View Group is searching for people to join our team at an Exclusive Members Only Club Restaurant by Major Food Group and Oak View Group in downtown Phoenix.  

This fine dining concept is hiring experienced hospitality professionals with a strong work ethic to help set and maintain the highest standards of cuisine and professionalism.  

 

This role will pay an hourly rate between $25 to $30.00

 

Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

 

This position will remain open until Dec 31, 2024.

About the Venue

The Footprint Center is in the heart of downtown Phoenix, home to the Phoenix Suns and Mercury professional basketball teams and a variety of special events and concerts tear round-making it the preeminent destination for sports and entertainment in the southwest.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Assistance: Provide exceptional service by welcoming guests, answering inquiries, and addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions. 
  • Reservations Management: Handle booking and confirmation of reservations, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and accommodating large groups when possible. 
  • Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, specials, and wine pairings to offer personalized recommendations. 
  • Event Coordination: Assist with planning and coordinating private events or special occasions within the restaurant. 
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with regular patrons, ensuring a personalized dining experience. 
  • Problem Resolution: Address any complaints or issues promptly and professionally to maintain guest satisfaction. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure seamless service delivery. 
  • Promotions and Marketing: Promote special events, seasonal menus, and partnerships to enhance the restaurant’s visibility. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years in a management role in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry 
  • Culinary certificate or comparable experience working in culinary roles preferred 
  • Previous experience performing new restaurant opening responsibilities such as training and motivating new employees into a high-performing team and implementing new systems, policies, and procedures strongly preferred 
  • Proven team player willing to roll up your sleeves - a good leader should be willing and able to do whatever he or she asks of their team! 
  • Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, humility and leadership 
  • Experience managing large scale restaurants a plus
