Position Summary

Under general supervision of the Special Events Manager, the Winterfest Supervisor will help develop and coordinate all special projects and events associated with the BOK Center and Arvest Winterfest. The Winterfest Supervisor will also interact continuously with clients and assist in coordination of all aspects of the booking process for Arvest Winterfest. This is a seasonal, hourly position that works event days.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.00 to $20.00.

About the Venue

The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located downtown and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the greater Tulsa region. Offering a19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square footage designed to accommodate concerts, family shows and other special events and has been named on multiple occasions one of the country's best venues. 

Responsibilities

  • Display a professional and personable attitude with venue personnel.
  • Assist in setup, teardown, and coordination of Winterfest.
  • Assist with public relations activities and press conferences for Winterfest.
  • Assist in booking vendors, musicians, and entertainment for Winterfest.
  • Work in conjunction with building marketing, event services, operations, and food & beverage staff in the planning and execution of Winterfest.
  • Prepare statistics, reports, and budget presentations for upper management.
  • Compile, develop and execute contracts for vendors involved in Winterfest.
  • Aid in creative initiatives and outrageously excellent experiences for clients and guests.
  • Oversee and execute decorations, music play lists and any other requirements for ancillary events involved with Winterfest.
  • Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older at the time of application

  • Regularly lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
