The Event Manager will manage every aspect of their assigned events from the advance planning stages through the end of the event; hire, train, schedule and supervise all event staff; oversee building security and interact with local public safety officials to ensure events run smoothly; coordinate communication between event staff/security and delegate assignments; be responsible for and ensure overall customer and lessee satisfaction and experience.
This role will pay a yearly salary of $47,500 to $50,000

Oak View Group has an exciting opening for an Event Manager for the UPMC Events Center on the Robert Morris University campus. The UPMC Events Center opened in May 2019 and is home to Robert Morris Colonial Men’s & Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball as well as variety of events, such as commencement, concerts, meetings, conferences, featured speakers, and banquets. The 161,000 square foot multi-purpose facility boasts a 4,000 plus seat arena, the 11,000 sq. ft. UPMC Health Plan Conference Center, a practice court for Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball teams, and a strength and conditioning center.
