Position Summary

We are currently hiring a Specialist, Onboarding Experience, to join our People Operations team to support employee onboarding requirements and the development of processes to align support systems across the entire organization. This person will work closely with the Manager, Onboarding and various departments.  They will provide guidance on different aspects of the onboarding experience for business partners with existing and new accounts.  This includes creating and adapting current processes to meet the needs for different types of onboarding for various populations of employees while also creating training and education for partners in the field on those adaptations.  This position will include travel to various venues, domestically.

 

The ideal candidate for this role is organized, process driven and has a great attention to detail. They must be comfortable working independently, with the flexibility to change priorities, as the needs of the department change. A strong working knowledge of Excel and overall computer skills as well as a variety of HRIS systems. The perfect person for this role will also be able to handle a fast-paced work environment while being able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

 

Salary Range $72,000 -$82,000

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan, and execute the new hire onboarding experience in the field for new accounts, acquisitions, large scale events, and union specific hires while traveling onsite to carry out.   
  • Delegate appropriate onboarding activities as needed onsite to help improve the overall experience for new hires.
  • Drive regular review, development and implementation of process changes and improvements to the onboarding procedures to fit various aspects of the business.
  • Build and report on retrospectives after each onboarding experience in the field and continue to run process improvement cycles with business partners.
  • Identify new opportunities for automation within onboarding aspects of HR processes and work with the Project Analyst to implement them.
  • Evaluate and implement tools to help maintain data integrity in ICIMS.
  • Develop new ways of reporting on the onboarding experience and build techniques to distribute and communicate progress.
  • Able to work collaboratively with various business partners in the field and across the people organization.
  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy with highly confidential data.
  • Demonstrated experience and the use of analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to travel 40%.

Qualifications

  • 4 Years of Experience working in a Recruiting, HR Operations or Onboarding Role
  • 4 Years of Experience working with Microsoft Tools specifically Excel
  • 3 Years of Experience working in HRIS Systems
