Position Summary

As we continue to grow and redefine the landscape of sports, live entertainment, and hospitality, Oak View Group is introducing the pivotal role of Manager, Data Analytics to our dynamic team. This role is crucial in leveraging data to drive decision-making and strategic insights across our large portfolio of sports, live entertainment, and hospitality venues.

 

The Manager, Data Analytics will be at the forefront of harnessing analytical methods to shape and implement data strategies that significantly impact our diverse operations. This role will see you working across a multitude of prestigious venues, partnering with various stakeholders in the sports, live entertainment, and hospitality sectors. Your insights will directly contribute to enhancing customer engagements and optimizing operational performance on a global scale.

You will lead and inspire a dedicated team of 1-3 data analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that values innovation and data-driven decision-making. Together, your team will be instrumental in turning complex datasets into strategic insights that propel Oak View Group's mission of redefining the landscape of live entertainment and sports interaction.

 

This role will pay a salary of $100,000 to $125,000 plus bonus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine analytical frameworks and models to interpret complex data that will directly influence business strategies
  • Collaborate closely with business intelligence teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Lead initiatives to integrate advanced analytics into daily operations, promoting a data-informed culture within the organization
  • Oversee the design and deployment of interactive dashboards and reporting solutions to provide real-time insights to stakeholders
  • Manage external partnerships and vendor relations to extend data capabilities and technological advancements
  • Manage 1-3 analysts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of data analytics experience
  • Strong proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and experience with BI platforms (e.g., PowerBI)
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, forecasting, and data mining techniques with a proven track record in managing substantial analytical projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large data sets
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in project management and the ability to drive projects to completion timely and effectively
