Position Summary

The stand supervisor position is expected to manage and provide oversight for assigned Beaver Stadium stand and non-profit groups which would include, counting and verifying inventory at the beginning and end of football games, overseeing refunds, voiding transactions and closing out stand registers. Beaver Stadium stand supervisors must be available for all seven home football games and are expected to arrive at Beaver Stadium four hours prior to kickoff, remain for the duration the game and until assigned stand is closed out following the game. The responsibility of the Concessions Stand Supervisor is to represent OVG, the Concessions Director and Concessions Manager, administratively on game day.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $17.00 to $19.00.

Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities may include: inventory verification, proper equipment operation, stand cleanliness, potential oversight of alcohol sales, and operational efficiency. The supervisor is not responsible for cash accountability and should not handle cash.

Qualifications

  • At Least 1-2 years’ experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food & beverage environment.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
