Position Summary

The Organizational Development Specialist will assist in the support, and continued evolution, of our integrated performance management strategy. This role will play an integral part in helping to generate positive impacts to Oak View Group's KPIs, by creating a culture of operational excellence that is founded on engagement, employee satisfaction, and effective leadership development. This position will be based in our Denver, CO or NY office.

 

Salary range $85,000-$90,000

This position will remain open until Sept 30, 2024.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships (trusted partner) with business stakeholders, to allow alignment of the performance management strategy to Oak View Group’s KPIs.
  • Assist in the ownership/management of the leadership development program at Oak View Group.
  • Assist learners and leaders in managing performance resources that support career-path development and OVG succession planning.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by synthesizing and evaluating performance data inputs (quantitative) and correlating with observational results (qualitative) to guide decision-making and help shape the performance strategy.
  • Provide cost-effective solutions with observable/measurable objectives.
  • Employ effective communication practices (presentations + metrics) to help influence leaders and stakeholders, resulting in positive change management.
  • Conduct analysis, focus groups, and interviews to assess performance and gauge overall effectiveness of processes, training, and policies relative to expectations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder interactions (progress updates, training, coaching, support, etc.) via in-person and online opportunities.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, On-boarding and the L&D team to ensure a World-Class employee experience, from initial point of contact through career-development, that helps drive employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Assist in the development/maintenance of skill and competency models for Oak View Group roles.
  • Support 360 feedback mechanisms and behavioral rubrics (good, better, best) to reduce performance biases.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop process maps to help identify workflow inefficiencies.
  • Support additional Talent Management initiatives (as needed).

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Effective coaching skills.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles (andragogy).
  • Familiarity with the 70/20/10 model of development.
  • Familiarity with 360 Feedback.
  • Process mapping.
  • Performance resource development (coaching guides, step-process, etc.).
  • Analysis (root cause, needs, etc.).
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Proficient with SharePoint/Teams/Zoom, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, business psychology, instructional design, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years’ experience in designing/delivering performance solutions (including leadership training), coaching and/or consulting in a corporate environment.
  • 4-7 years’ experience supporting a talent function within a human resources department.
