Under direct supervision from the Event Manager or Event Coordinator. This position is responsible for serving in a variety of event related roles, including ticket taking, ushering, door monitoring, exhibitor services, parking lot attendant, patrolling all areas of property and parking lots, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and contract labor while on premises; securing property during move in/out trade shows, conventions or events.
With our multi-purpose venue, we offer the capability to utilize our facility for events such as rodeos, livestock showing/selling, boxing, wrestling, concerts, trade/consumer shows, corporate meetings, banquets, weddings, quinceañeras, parties, horse events, sporting events, and so much more!
The Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds provides varied opportunities for Nueces County residents and serves as a place for the community to gather and share experiences. The facility is owned by Nueces County and managed by OVG360.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $12.50.

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license required
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong customer service skills
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management
• Ability to work irregular hours including early mornings, days, night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
• Interact with emergency personnel; provide accurate descriptions and directions
• Ability to utilize two-way radios, monitor phones and closed circuit security cameras
