Overview

The Changeover crew is an on call, per event employee who works specifically in the areas of room sets and arena conversions at the Chaifetz Arena.

 

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15 to $17.00.

About the Venue

Chaifetz Arena is a 10,600-seat venue sitting on the campus of Saint Louis University and is privately managed by OVG360.

Since opening in 2008, Chaifetz Arena has served as the home venue for the SLU Billikens men's and women's basketball teams as well as hosted a diverse range of concerts, family shows, national sporting events, and much more. Audiences have enjoyed performances from Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Patti LaBelle, The Killers, Kelly Clarkson, Cirque du Soleil, Martin Lawrence, Brad Paisley, Disney On Ice, and many more critically acclaimed entertainment acts.

Responsibilities

FUNCTIONS (including, but not limited to):

  • Responsible for the physical setup of all areas around the Arena including chairs, tables, staging, furnishings and equipment for sporting and live events
  • Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing, cleaning, and maintaining changeover equipment
  • Respond and resolve set-up issues promptly as directed by fellow staff and management

Qualifications

  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays based on the event schedule
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
