Overview

As a Batcher Associate, you will support the Batcher in coordinating and managing various aspects of music festivals. Your role will involve assisting with scheduling, logistics coordination, and communication tasks to ensure the smooth execution of festival activities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • The role may involve working in outdoor festival environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Flexibility in work hours is essential, particularly during peak festival periods.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $18 to $24.00.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of batching schedules, performance details, and logistical arrangements throughout the festival planning and execution process.
  • Support the generation of post-event reports summarizing performance outcomes, logistical challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive batching schedule outlining the lineup, set times, and stage allocations for each performance.
  • Coordinate with talent managers, booking agents, and production teams to finalize performance schedules and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and artist requirements during the batching process.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable to changes in scheduling, artist availability, or unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the festival.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in event coordination, music festivals, or related roles desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed during festival periods.
  • Interest in the music industry and willingness to learn about artist booking processes, contractual agreements, and technical requirements for live performances.
