Utilizing initiative and independent judgment, the Assistant General Manager assists the General Manager in planning, directing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Grand Junction Convention Center, including sales & marketing, finance, event services, operations, human resources, public safety, production, union related issues, and facility maintenance. Supervision is exercised over professional staff, who directs various sections in day-to-day operations. Responsibility further includes evaluation and development of recommendations to improve organizational administration, procedures, policies, and programs. Unusual problems and major changes in programs or policy are discussed with the General Manager.
This role will pay a salary of $85,000 to $100,000.

OVG360 is leading a variety of venues in Grand Junction through unprecedented growth. The Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park (4,100 capacity) hosts 25 concerts annually, the Avalon Theatre (1,100 capacity) hosts a variety of ticketed events annually and welcomes over 40,000 customers each year. The recently renovated Grand Junction Convention Center is also reaching new levels of business success. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) provides highly responsible support to the General Manager in all respects of facility and event management and is an ideal position to gain senior level management experience at a variety of venues hosting a variety of events. OVG360 is looking for an AGM that is focused on providing exceptional service to all our customers and clients, is a great leader and teammate, and wants to grow professionally. This position ultimately oversees f/t and p/t staff in the Events, Operations, and Food and Beverage Departments.
